When the SRA Bylaws were revised in 2016, a provision was included to recognize the participation of long-term members that had made a substantial contribution to the success of the Association.
The Pensions and Issues Committee developed Terms of Reference in response to the Bylaw provisions and presented them to the Annual General Meeting. The members approved the proposal on May 25, 2017.
More details on the process to nominate a member for honorary member status will be available by the fall of 2017.

The SRA Board believes this will be an important way to recognize the founding members who developed the SRA into the organization it has become to respond to both today’s and tomorrow’s challenges.
